Vertical take-off/landing aircraft: Yak-141

General description:

The supersonic deck VTOL Yak-141 development was a logical step in VTOL program proceeding. Yak-141 was a remarkable acheivment of Russian aviation industry. This aircraft had accumulated all experience in the field and was ahead of the time.

The Government decision in 1992 to cancel the program arrived at height of aircraft flight testing.
