General description:

All weather night fighter-interceptor Yak-25, was generally recognized as the best in its class, and was in mass production. The aircraft was in service of Soviet Air Force in the fifties.

The aircraft basic version succes led later on to development of a number of modifications with designations Yak-25М (interceptor with improved radar station), Yak-25Р (reconnaissance aircraft), Yak-25МР (sea reconnaissance aircraft), Yak-25МШ (drone), Yak-25Б (front bomber). All modifications were in serial production.
