General description:
The close range passenger aircraft Yak-42 was developed in compliance with russian and western requirements to aircraft of that class. The improved comfort for passengers, low fuel consumption and noise level, enhanced flight safety were in fashion at that time.
The way into the life was not simple for that aircraft but neverthereless, Yakovlev Design Bureau managed to prove correctness of its design: Yak-42 is in service on many airlines in many contries.
