Central club sportsmen training on Yak-18 before parade |
Trainer aircraft.
Nearly every Russian pilot began his way in aviation from "flying desk" - trainer aircraft. A.S.Yakovlev Design Bureau traditionally considers developing trainer aircraft for pilots training as a honour.
Design Bureau had developed such known trainers as Yak-11, Yak-18А and its single seater versions (Yak-18П, Yak-18ПМ, Yak-18ПС). The multiporpose four seater primary trainer aircraft Yak-18Т, proved to be reliable "work horse" in flying schools and as a general aviation aircraft.
There were produced later: aerobatic aircraft Yak-50 and its trainer version Yak-52.
The first jet trainer and aerobatic aircraft appeared as Yak-30 and Yak-32.
